Correction from 1-2-2014 Newsletter

A free, usually twice-monthly subscription newsletter featuring foreclosures, pre-foreclosures, and all the best deals available on St. Simons Island and Sea Island.

The previous newsletter was sent out with the wrong foreclosure information in it. The right map was in place, but the wrong addresses and principals.  For this, I apologize.  The corrected information is below for the Glynn County foreclosures, occurring on 1-7-2014 at the Glynn County Courthouse in Brunswick.

In this edition of the newsletter, we also focus on new foreclosures, and good deals, throughout St. Simons.  Some are small condos and homes.  Others are Golf Resort Subdivision homes and and condos.  If you have any requests regarding areas/price ranges that you would like us to focus on in a newsletter, let me know!

    This month, there are 12 properties scheduled for foreclosure on St. Simons Island and none on Sea Island.  This is one more property than last month.  The homes at 138 Shore Rush Drive and 124 Simonton could prove to be pretty good deals, if you are interested in buying a home at the foreclosure auction at the Glynn County Courthouse, in Brunswick on 1/7/2014.
    Beware that 138 Shore Rush Drive is in flood zone AE-13.  The home sits right on the marsh, but it is built right on the ground, so flood insurance premiums will be through the roof.  It is in bad condition and, in my opinion, needs to be torn down and started over, so you could build to current flood zoning codes.  Home needs to be higher off the ground.
