This month, there are only two foreclosures scheduled for St. Simons Island and zero for Sea Island.  This is a huge reduction from 2 years ago, when the scheduled foreclosures per month on St. Simons averaged around 25.  We also have had an 83% reduction in ‘Shadow Inventory’, which are owned homes that are scheduled for foreclosure, or severely delinquent on their mortgage.

In this edition of the newsletter, we also focus on new foreclosures, and good deals, throughout St. Simons.  Some are condos and small homes.  Others are Golf Resort subdivision and beach subdivision homes and condos.  If you have any requests regarding areas/price ranges that you would like us to focus on in a newsletter, let me know!

    This month, there are two properties scheduled for foreclosure on St. Simons Island and none on Sea Island.  The foreclosure sale takes place on Tuesday, 3/4/2014 from the hours of 10AM-4PM at the Glynn County Courthouse. This is far fewer than what we became used to over the past 5 years.  Both of these homes are premier properties, very close to the beach and ocean and with water views.
